Aquila’ Mahdi is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University, building on her strong foundation in communication from Kennesaw State University. With a passion for supporting individuals through challenging times, Aquila’ plans to specialize in trauma, depression, and complex PTSD. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy, which she uses to help clients rewrite their stories and navigate life’s difficulties. Aquila’ is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to promote healing and resilience in her clients. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, writing novellas, and visiting art galleries.
